The short answer

A fresh noble fir Christmas porch from Porch PNW costs $399 for The Welcome, $699 for The Classic or $1,099 for The Grand, before sales tax. That price covers the design, the fresh greenery, delivery and installation, and everything we bring is yours to keep. Washington addresses add sales tax; Oregon has none.

What local holiday installers charge

Most published local prices are for exterior Christmas lights, which is a different job from porch greenery, but it is the closest comparison:

  • Saint Nick's Christmas Lights says many Portland-area residential projects fall within about $750 to $1,500 or more, and that it leases the lights for the season.
  • PDX Holiday Lighting says most residential installations range from $500 to $2,500, with installation, maintenance, takedown and storage included.
  • Clark Christmas Lights in Clark County puts the average two-story home at around $800 to $1,200 for the first year.

Where lights are leased, you are paying for the season, not for things you keep. We do not hang roofline or house lights at all, so if a lit roofline is what you want, one of these installers is the right call.
